ABOUT AFAN FOREST PARK

WHITES LEVEL has been given a bit of a facelift, with the new

Energy Section.

Almost exclusively singletrack, it pushes Whites technical credentials, berms,

jumps, timber boardwalks, bridge structures, and general feeling of isolation.

As you probably know, Penhydd is closed while reconstruction goes on.

Work is proceeding on the Skyline Trail, but our riders assure

us that it is not a problem to follow the detours created around the

work and the trail is as invigorating as ever.

 

Afan Forest Park Triathlon

The 2010 Afan Forest Park Triathlon is scheduled for

Saturday, August 7th.

The first event will begin at 10:45am.

As usual, you macho and macha ones will be swimming, biking, and running,

either as individuals or in teams.

The Monster/Mountain Bike Enduro for 2010 is scheduled for

Saturday, September 25.

The Ryder Cup

is coming to Newport on October 1st through 3rd.

We understand they will be running special trains to Newport from Port Talbot,

and we are happy to tell you that we still have a limited amount of space available

for those days .

The Wales Rally will be held from

November 11th through 14th, 2010.
